In addition to the data collection using online panels, Harris
Interactive also offers classic methods of data acquisition
such as studio
tests and inhome
/ CATI surveys. We are also able to implement innovative methods such as surveys
using SMS text messaging.

Studio tests
The online studio test combines the advantages of online data
acquisition (secure, flexible, high quality, fast) with easy
reachability for even the rarest target groups. For paper-and-pencil or CAPI-interviews
the interviews can be designed to be filled out by respondents on their own, or
for completion with an interviewer, e.g., when it can be assumed that the user
is very unfamiliar with the operation of technical devices.

Inhome and CATI surveys
Harris Interactive has its own core staff of interviewers for
carrying out in-home interviews in several as well as international CATI-resources.

SMS text messaging surveys
Wireless surveys via mobile phones, in particular using SMS text
messaging, are primarily suited for short, situation-specific questions
(e.g., after shopping, when coming into contact with particular forms of
advertising, etc.). SMS text messaging surveys can be used in all of the countries
represented by Harris Interactive’s online panels.
